The luxury 5***** Retreat, 'the Secret' @ Peak Serenity, is found on the 1st floor of our beautifully converted 18th century barn.

The property nestles in the seclusion of the White Peak, at Cliff Farm, and is 28 miles from Junction 28 , M1 and close to the villages of Elton, Alport and Youlgreave (renowned for it`s well dressing). Chatsworth House with it's Christmas Celebrations and various festivals and the medieval manor house, Haddon Hall are also close by, as are Bakewell and Ashbourne with their markets.

The luxury accommodation is for 2 people, (extra accommodation can be arranged .)

The comfortable lounge area boasts very comfortable seating with Sky TV with surround sound, ( broadband and Wi-fi on site, )and the modern kitchen has everything for the chef in the party.

A tastefully decorated bedroom with a king-size bed, sumptious linens and an inspirational view from your picture window awaits you.

An en-suite bathroom with spa bath, overhead electric shower and underfloor heated floor tiles will soothe the tensions of your body and soul.

And outside, on the deck , looking towards the Cliff, enjoy some time in the Hot tub, whilst sipping your wine and admiring the amazing view. ( unbreakable glasses of coarse.)

Wake up and enjoy the exquisite view of the rolling countryside through the picture window in your bedroom.

Experience the quietness, and savour, at times, the mist lying in the field, and as the sun warms and clears it, at certain times of the year, see the deer lying in the meadow.

Watch the sunrise and sunset, and stand in awe at the majesty of this earth, or snuggle up inside when the snow falls and brings a hush over the land ..

Explore the woods in the valley below and the surrounding moorland, observing the wildlife and flowers including bluebells and,the like, when in season, or climb the internationally known training climb at Robin Hood Stride Rocks

The 'Secret' @ Peak Serenity is an ideal spot for honeymooners who can, if they wish, just stay and watch the world go by in their own secret hide-away.

Walkers, artist, photographers, lovers of wildlife, climbers and cyclists will find the area around Cliff Farm full of promise and delight as the countryside is right on your doorstep.

If you wish, arrangements can be made for you to experience Gliding, Clay pidgeon shooting, paintballing, Hot Air Balloon or helicopter tour. Climbing, walking , photography, painting with a tutor etc, is available, or maybe you would like to be pampered with Aromatherapy or other alternative therapies, Beauty treatments, life-coaching, EFT, meditation

Specialized packages are available, viz. ' A Chocolate- lovers Break,' ' Pamper yourselves,' Romantic break Hot Air balloon flight, etc..

Please enquire about cost. Transport to and from the respective teaching centres ( Gliding etc.) can be arranged with our executive cars. ( included with the Specialized package breaks.)

Collection from, and return to, the airport or railway station of your choice can be arranged either by executive chauffeur driven cars, or helicopter from the airports. Helcopters can be parked on the paddock for your convenience.

A 50% non returnable deposit is required on booking. The remainder is required 4 weeks before apartment is required.

A returnable Good House keeping fee of £50- is required on a separate cheque.

These are payable by cheque made out to PEAK SERENITY and mailed to Cliff Farm, Alport, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1LL on booking.

Bookings being taken for Christmas and New Year. ( weeks or Short break.)
